Mischief's Afoot!

Ahoy there neighbors! Arianna's here to lighten your load of some candy booty!

Boy did she come home with loads

Too pretty to be rough and tough looking though ;-)

Alura's off with an impish wink and a devilish grin to snare candy from helpless neighbors too. No one stood a chance with these two. What fun!

The Halloween candy will usually last them until Easter time at least when there is plenty more candy to be found and the cycle continues. And this is how Americans keep dentists in business...

Pumpkins

Well, we carved and we carved and we finally finished! Arianna did a vulture and a trio of ghosties. Alura did a RIP 1600 and I attempted to do Obama justice. Fun and slime up to our elbows! Yummy toasted pumpkin seeds too.

Abigail

Here is Abigail Josephine, Ian and Lauren's sweet baby girl. We did a drive by weekend visit to meet her in August, a couple of weeks after she was born. Sleepy baby, but we've heard she's much more alert now. The picture of Ian kissing her head makes me feel all weepy it's so sweet! Of course once she was grumpy we promptly handed her back to her wonderful momma Lauren...

Castle in the Clouds

Also up in New Hampshire overseeing Lake Winnepesaugee (sp?) A beautiful mansion with incredible innovations for the time period such as a shower that actually had jets that surrounded you. The metal works the water came out of looked almost like a giant rib cage. Can't beat the views from here!
This was me in June up in New Hampshire on Wildcat Mountain, playing sleeping beauty (age spots and all -- LOL!) The trip was to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary.

No flowers were hurt in this photograph... They were growing in a horseshoe shaped mound on top of a boulder. Beautiful views all around, but very cold on top of the mountain.

Welcome!

Welcome Family and Friends to my newly created blog. I hope to keep you posted on our special or just plain fun events. Admittedly a poor correspondent in the past, I think the blog format by allowing me to be creative will make it more enjoyable to compose these posts.

Above are two of my joys Alura and Arianna at the beach in Stone Harbor, New Jersey this past August. We try to visit every year. This was the same weekend that we all found out that Lauren and Ian had a new baby girl - Abigail. Such great excitement!

More news to come as pictures are uploaded.
